Action will continue in two directions Valuable Gallery online:

1.       Art Fabian Company is taking the challenge of publishing one art work (in different mediums) a day.
2.       We are going to introduce a series of slideshows featuring Kathy Vivian Fabian artwork done in previous years from the Val Gal Archives.
All the action will take place on our main website which is:

Profits are still non-existant so I will be concentrating on creative work.  I am reading on marketing strategy but am still not that strong on it.  I am supposed to combine the two so that they work in unison but since I am stronger with the creative aspect, I will start to move in this direction from this angle.

The good weather is here.  Office work will now focus on organizing the large amount of creative material into a cohesive whole.  I will continue to work on community links by two methods:

An Outreach program mailing works of art to Company Patrons and Friends.

Creative Safaris in which I will go into the community creative spaces to absorb others works and also to work on mine in public.  I think I will be going back to movies in the theatre with an emphasis on fantasy films, both animated and real life action.  As usual, a prime fascination of mine with these films is a focus on physical beauty.

Frankly one thing that is really distressing me is the public use of my music without any compensation or credentials associated to me.  the productions are getting really elaborate with big names and much money and it cuts like a knife to see that the composer has not all been compensated in any way.

So in a best case scenario I will be going to public venues to listen and learn about others works.  But on the other hand,  the more money and the better the work is the more I feel the shame and the humiliation of my own personal poverty and also lack or creative credentials.  I am not even gien the title of ghost writer. But lack of financial compensation has reached absurd heights.  We will see what will happen and how I will feel.

Its always cheaper and less time consuming to work on the creative input of others by the avenue of things like the radio.  Like I said, we'll see.

Bieber; Under the Mistletoe

Well the laundry's done. I have two pairs of kicky pajama bottoms waiting to be worn now. We are talking pink leopard and monkeys on a purple background. The dishwasher is out for a couple of days now and we have been eating on paper plates so I am going to look for a nice place to have my lunch today. I have a selection of three restos in mine: French, Brazilian and a coffee with a winning menu.  After that, I am going to go pick up a couple of pastries for tonight and f or Christmas morning. Talking about the French resto, they have some beautiful, decorative pastries. I only hope they are open. Meanwhile, this being the 24th I am going to go back to bed for a bit before I get dressed to search our sustenance.  Meanwhile, why not pick up some Christmas images from Bieber. By the way, what does shawty mean? He says that a lot in the song.

Birthday Itinerary on the LIke-a-thon

And what am I going to do today? I am glad you asked. First thing I am going to have breakfast at the wonderfully designed new restaurant down the street. I dare not tell you the name because I want to have a place. If I told you well then you might be one of the multitude of fans that take the tables instead of me. So, in to the shower and then I am off to the races. (did you join my event) What? Not yet? Well now's the time.

The Before Poster Series

Before posters   The arts in a poor community   When I moved into the downtown sector the plateau Montreal was a very poor community   Although the community was very poor it was densely populated. There were a lot of dry goods establishments mixed with a fair amount of family tolerated prostitution. The police sergeant had taken it upon himself to clean up the area so there were a lot of sponsored artistic establishments Mostly beginning dressmakers. These were young designers that needed a lot of cheap space and fast and they were willing and able to physically fight for their career.  They had many ethnic grocery stores that promoted regional fruits and vegetables  four different kinds of cooking needs. You had Portuguese you had English you had Chinese etc. These culturally diverse grocery stores exist to this very day. You also had a lot of temporary space that could be rented very cheaply for performance. It is from these performances can I tak...
