New Coat of paint Update June 1, 2017 Summer

LInk:  http://valuablegallery.blogspot.com/2017/06/update-june-1-2017-summer.html Big Changes with the Art Fabian Gallery.  Because a magnificent new yellow coat of paint has dramatically changed the Valuable Gallery a change of name has become appropriate.  Henceforth instead of calling the outer gallery the Blue Corridor Gallery we will be referring to it as the Sunny Gallery.  We started putting up our exhibits ad hoc. Since we are functioning solely we have had very little expertise as to how to choose images from the web so as not to hassle with copyright issues. It has taken a fair amount of time to find the filter application int the Bing.com site.  Finally, we have found a site that filters out problems with the copyright. If we choose our images within the public domain we are free to share, use commercially and modify these images. And the creative commons filter has a section in which the artist permits us to do all three. Pinterest has more image...

vg46 Production Notes: summer 2016

As for more long term production goals I will be going for a plan of maintenance rather than growth. In others words I will concentrating on the certification of my already existing body of work (this is instead of concentrating on creating new work).    I have found a program to watermark my work rather easily.  My machine saves the document with a really long number. It seems to be a registration number which means that the work would be documented with this company, it is a Windows app and that is all I know about it.  So I don’t know what I should do. If I should maintain a file with the registration number or not. Meanwhile I can use the program rather easily to identify my work.  This brings me to another issue. Should I use my name or an email? I have to think about it.  Making a watermark the same as I am familiar with is something that to have to think of as well. To me a watermark is very transparent and actually takes up all the space of...

vg15. Learning Update: Autumn Quarterly. by Kathy Fabian

On Line: For this quarterly I am going to be listening to two kinds of learning material: podcasts and videos.  I like to do this while I am doing routine work like filing.  Since I am doing a lot of filing I will be doing a lot of listening. I am going to keep the informative emails down to a minimum and emphasize websites and mostly youtube subscriptions.  that is the most convenient.  When I have the time I can just go to one site. Also I will continue glancing at my ipod podcasts to see what's new. One thing the emails are good for are notifying me of webinars.  If and when there is an intersting subject I will take one or two from time to time.  I like the webinars that are live but also recorded as well. I also want to start looking at other artists websites to see what they are doing and how much they charge.  I will be looking at the top artists as well as those who might be directly competitive with myself. I have finished my Lean St...

vg12. Autumn Quarterly:2015. Production

Autumn Quarterly:2015. Production By Kathy Fabian, C.E.O. and Principal Artist The first and Foremost goal of all Art Fabian Company work to to achieve financial success. Blogging My writing will focus on Money making projects such as ValGal and my Google Page My Clothes Right Now for Sale. I will continue my schedule of writing for a different blog each day.  I am trying to keep one month a head for blog posts.  Meanwhile if I find a better place to do something then I will leave the old site intact to leave a virtual footprint. I will slow down writing actual articles and concentrating on improving the presentation for the blogs. Each blog should have an example of art on it for sale.  I will focus only on stuff I feel that I really want to write about or on money making projects.  I will just polish up stuff that highlights just my creative work. I have a lot of blog articles now so they are actually not my main priority.  Organizing pro...

vg5. Autumn Quarterley Report. Finances 2015

Finances There has been two major shifts in the way Val Gal has been handling her affairs. Online Kathy Fabian has been slowly going through the blogs she has written and modifying the prices.  At the beginning of the Online and real world galleries the art work had a ticket price of $100,000.00.  This was to attract a wealthy clientele and also to establish Art Fabian Co. as a top notch creator of art and art collections:  or at least stimulate conversation about the prices offered for Val Gal work. The summer quarter has ushered in a new philosophy for Val Gal. Gone are elite prices and instead we have a very affordable range of prices that go from $120 to $500.00 for an art work depending on whether they are in or out of the Exhibition Collections. Art work that is currently part of the actual Val Gal four season exhibits have the price of $500.00.  Prints on line are $120.00 each. Until sales improve, Art Fabian Co. executives have decided, to work on ref...
