We have a Gift Atelier Bazaar for company friends and patrons.  We have a new Magic Space Exhibit specially for the Holidays.  And there has been an exciting discovery of some lost Kathy Fabian Artwork recently.  Lots of new drawings and paintings are coming in to Val Gal and have to be properly stored. On Saturday and Friday I went down to the thrift shops to look for ideas for Holiday Season decorations.  I had a large amount of really fine stuff right in my hands when all of a sudden I took a clear look at my financial position.  Gingerly I put the stuff back and started thinking how to keep the costs down for Holiday Season spending this year. I came up with an idea to rely as much as possible on material that I print out from my machine. Cutting the work load also results in less spending.  So this year I am not going to do a special Holiday Seasons Exhibition. Instead I am going to start the winter exhibit a couple of weeks before the Holiday Season starts. At the same time I will be including hand made ornaments to decorate the images.  These images will be composed of store Christmas ornaments mixed with my art work. I got up good and early this Saturday to do the studio work.  My mind was clear and I was ready to roll.  I had been having trouble with buying a new program for charting on Google Play.  Since Google support was busy for a while I figured calling on Saturday might get me someone to speak to.  I mean there are only technicians and fools working on Saturday morning nine o'clock.  Once that was done, I would really go for some devastating beautiful photo-montages. So I got the technical support on line.  And then I was transferred to someone else.  And then they had to check out the protocol.  And by the time the whole thing was solved the morning was gone.  Well, it wasn't solved but I would speak to the tech next week (it was the weekend).  So the morning flew by and I had some errands to do and by the time I got to do some studio work it was night time. Hello Dear Readers, A Little Background about Me: I was part of the New Renaissance.   In the historical Renaissance period world travel was considered part of any elegant young gentleman's education.  A couple of years ago I encountered a subculture of men and women dressed in clothes that would make them fit in from work to a party and the night life beyond.  The clothes also were international.  You could wear them in any culture.  As luck would have it, I sometimes accompanied these men and women in their world travels and got to experience the culture of many lands. Thus I am influenced by many cultures when I create my art.  Right now I have some Ambient music on and am watching a tropical underwater scene.  Saturday it was Indian spiritual music.   Studio Work on Saturday. Saturday I spent my studio time filming the exhibition pieces for the new Autumn Leaves: New City 15 exhibition.  It was actually supposed to take place opening day but the camera broke so I postponed it for this week.  Saturday I just filmed the pieces because I thought I would leave the publicity stills for the Sunday.  that would give me the time to check out all the adjustments that I would need to make when I posed for the camera. As luck would have it, however, we were having some really good filming weather.  And the last day that would be clear would be Sunday.  So I figured I would take advantage and film outside.  I wanted some poses of myself in the newly redone Lahaie park right next to our residence. I would postpone the pictures of myself with the art work for the following week.
