Happy Thanksgiving to All!
I hope you enjoyed your day and will look forward to many things to give thanks for until the next Thanksgiving.
The leaves are brightly colored outside. And the days sunny. So I went into my archives to find some images with splendid autumn foliage. Saturday I reserved for studio work . I had been tidying up my collection of muses and had a few lovely ladies ready to star in my photographic extravaganzas. The final element was the inclusion of the very expensive, very evident presence of construction in the neighborhood. I had a lot of autumn pictures but I wanted to showcase technology and machines. As luck would have it we were having some road repair done right outside our house. And voila I had the tree elements with very little trouble; Construction sites, beautiful women and autumn leaves.
The final images showed the positive effect the city road work has on the people in the neighborhood.
I created some images of the woman in a neighborhood that would make any humble (or less than humble) construction mogul proud.
You could interpret it in two ways. Either the elegant ladies of the neighborhood deserve a neighborhood in tip-top shape (hence the necessary inconvenience of the construction work). Or the work that the city does to maintain its streets and traffic working efficiently is so important it creates a spirit of progress (aka construction muses if you will).
There was a lot of other stuff to do this weekend. For some reason I had a large amount of creative energy. I am in the process of refining my autumn/winter wardrobe and this gave me an excellent incentive to do some filming of the various every day objects I came across. So there are some new strong images in my everyday portraits. Go to https://kvfabian.wordpress.com/ to see them
And the sunny day compelled me to take my camera outside for a photoshoot at the park. The light is best two hours after sunrise or two hours before sunset so I was up before breakfast taking some pictures.
With all this creative work I did this weekend I had little patience for framing. I will take care of it in during the rest of the week.
