V27 Calming Down: the Saturday after Christmas

After all the hurrying I did for Christmas Day I thought that I would just do some tidying up online a little before I started my Studio Work this Saturday.  I thought,  it would just take one second.  I would go to the proper file, and put the Pen and Ink Drawings onto my Wealthy Art sight. Unfortunately it took almost all day to find the files.  I remember doggedly going onto the computer late at night still nervous about some missing files.  So this prompted me into a frenzy of organizing my files, both paper and online that is still going on now (Tuesday).

I had the day all planned. First I would take down the little dog under the mistletoe which is very Christmassy and replace him with the "Ballerina and Time" (a collage done by myself). Then I just would, neat as a baby, go take my snowy scene from the dossiers downstairs, quickly change the muse into one that was better and put it on the wall.  To date neither are done but I have both images near me and I hope to do them by next Saturday.

I couldn't find a lot of stuff and this got into a serious mood. So I put on some Independant Living tapes so that I could spruce up on my social skills.

I did a little creative entertaining however.  I had some wine and cheese left over from Christmas night so I took a little while to set everything up attractively on my window ledge.  the wine was put near the outer window an hour before five o'clock to chill.  at the same time I took the Cheese out so that it could be served at room temperature.  The wine was a French one called L'Escale and the Cheese was a prizing winning Brie with a taste of Vanilla to add a little interest.  With that I paired Cranberry and Walnut Crackers and Walnuts in the shell.  I was lucky to find some Peruvian grapes on sale at the Supermarket.  They were enormous and very sweet.  They were perhaps a little too sweet to go with the cheese but they tasted great by themselves.  And the cheese went very well with the Cranberry and walnut crackers.  It was nice to have red wine.  I drink only on special occasions.

Because I did not get around to the actual creative work on Saturday I did some filming about Val Gal on Sunday.  I am going through the pictures of the Magic Space Exhibit right now.

Finally Sunday afternoon I went down to Complexe Desjardins to find a tablecloth for a  little birthday celebration we were holding the next day.  Because I was down there anyways I took a peak at Marie Claire to see if I could find some business clothes.  I have absolutely no luck in the thrift shops.  they never seem to have my size.  As luck would have it I found some nice clothes.

So, although I had not much time to do actually creative art work this past weekend, I did find an outlet for my creative energies in many other ways.  And I certainly got a lot of organizing done.

Blogging My writing will focus on Money making projects such as ValGal and my Google Page My Clothes Right Now for Sale. I will continue my schedule of writing for a different blog each day.  I am trying to keep one month a head for blog posts.  Meanwhile if I find a better place to do something then I will leave the old site intact to leave a virtual footprint. I will slow down writing actual articles and concentrating on improving the presentation for the blogs. Each blog should have an example of art on it for sale.  I will focus only on stuff I feel that I really want to write about or on money making projects.  I will just polish up stuff that highlights just my creative work. I have a lot of blog articles now so they are actually not my main priority.  Organizing pro...

Bieber; Under the Mistletoe

Well the laundry's done. I have two pairs of kicky pajama bottoms waiting to be worn now. We are talking pink leopard and monkeys on a purple background. The dishwasher is out for a couple of days now and we have been eating on paper plates so I am going to look for a nice place to have my lunch today. I have a selection of three restos in mine: French, Brazilian and a coffee with a winning menu.  After that, I am going to go pick up a couple of pastries for tonight and f or Christmas morning. Talking about the French resto, they have some beautiful, decorative pastries. I only hope they are open. Meanwhile, this being the 24th I am going to go back to bed for a bit before I get dressed to search our sustenance.  Meanwhile, why not pick up some Christmas images from Bieber. By the way, what does shawty mean? He says that a lot in the song.

vg39. Creative Strategy for a newspaper Advertiser: Clearosil Perfecto Wash

The book I am reading says to practice making a creative  marketing strategy by using other products. this one is an online newspaper ad.  here goes: The purpose of Clearosil Perfecto wash advertising is to show that the user of this soap will have clear skin no matter what kind of food she eats.  So she can go out with all sorts of great looking people and eat fabulous junk food. This will be accomplished by first of all using very beautiful model in attractive surroundings and making it look very easy and practical to just use the soap and get rid of all potential problems.  The product's convenient aspect is enhanced by a very modern looking funky dispenser that gives the soap with very little effort. The ad will be humorous and the models will maintain her good looks no matter what even if an accident happens: like her hat is taken off by the fan.
